Six for Six - Haskins Wins Sixth Pro Truck Race of 2012
[05-14-12] Georgia racer Cody Haskins continued his strong 2012 racing season with another victory this past weekend. On Saturday, May 12th, Haskins raced his Pro Truck at Gresham Motorsports Park (GA), earning the pole position and racing his way to the checkered flag first. The win Saturday was his sixth Pro Truck win of 2012 in six races.
Cody Haskins - Bio
Winning races and national championships has been the standard for success for Cody Haskins in his racing career. At the young age of seven, the Georgia native started racing Quarter Midgets, and by age 13, he had seven series championships, two national wins, over 350 victories, 32 track records, and was known as the most dominant and respected racer in the Southeast.
In 2004, Haskins moved into Legends Car racing, winning in just his second time on the track, and ending up with two Georgia series championships, the 2009 Nationals win and well over 25 victories.
In the late 2000s, Haskins spent time racing a Pro Late Model in the Georgia Asphalt Series, gaining valuable experience in the Late Model realm. During the 2011 season, Haskins drove a Truck for Curt Britt Motorsports and won multiple races.
He will get behind the wheel of Britt's Truck again in 2012 and will hopefully make some starts in a Super Late Model as well.
